for me, on 731 SP07, we ended up not messing with any of that, and taking the default "Standard" procedure.
Like I said in my original post, you could change these for a CRM system:
/sap/crm_logon
/sap/bc/nwbc
/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
Logon Data (tab) --> Procedure = XXXX you pick.
But in my case, my problem with getting the ID/pass pop up wasn't anything in SICF.
Keep in mind if you do change it, you'll have to go back behind every support pack you apply, and put it back again....
