SSO Umlaute

Hi!

I´ve a Problem with the Umlaut in Single Sign on.

If the Pay Statement will be printed, the Umlaute will be written with a  #

Do anyone know this Problem?

Re: SSO Umlaute

Hi Dunja,

I do not see the link between you printing your pay statements and the SSO functionality.

Could you please explain this in more detail?

Regards,

Patrick

How can I define a logon mask language for users with several clients?

Hello community,

do you know how I can define the logon language of a user who has several clients (user in several clients) in a SSO system?

Our standard is DE, in the client su01 configs he always has EN as a defined standard language.

Is it possible to configure languages per user or only for one global config file?

SAP SSO and iPhone: How To?

Dear community members,

I often get questions how to integrate mobile devices into an existing SAP SSO landscape with Secure Login Server. I'm able to configure several working scenarios with iOS based devices:

- SAP Mobile Authenticator and SAML IdP

- SAP Mobile Authenticator and Java redirect application

- iOS Kerberos Logon

However, I'm missing a way to use the iPhone with an existing SLS.

Ideas so far include:

- Secure Login Web Client for iPhone

- Download page for .p12-Files from SLS ( i.e. for certificates with 12 month validity)

- integration between SLS and SAP Mobile Platform / Afaria

But I don't know any solutions. Did someone manage to make a simple integration between SLS and iOS devices? Is there an official paper on this topic?

many thanks in advance

Joachim

SAPGUI login without SSO

Hi,

We have setup SSO for our ABAP systems and when users try to login when the SLS becomes unavailable , they dont get a login screen , they just get an error, is there someway when SLS becomes unavailable the users can get a login page where theyt can login with their userid/passwd .

Thank you

Re: SSO for Single Fiori & Multiple ECC systems

Hi All,

Thanks a lot for your helpful advice.

@Nick: Yes.. the secure login client had been installed.

@Wolfgang: I reached the same conclusion. I had our Systems team add the same user in the JV company domain. The keytab entry had already been added before. SSO started working and we actually went live on 16 July.

Greatly appreciate the support.

Kind regards,

Amer.

Re: SAPGUI login without SSO

Hi,

You can create another entry for the system without SNC enabled in SAPGUI.

Thanks.

Hello Rajesh,

Have you read the help guide to configure the client certificates?

Re: SSO Umlaute

Hi Dunja,

I still fail to understand what makes you believe this is SSO related. It is related to the system interaction, however as you stated, in one case you log in to a portal and in the other case directly to the SAP system. I would bet, there is something wrong with NLS settings in the two systems. However this is not related to SSO. I would suggest you ask this question in a from related to printing questions.

Re: SAP Password Manager with SAP BCM CDT (contact center client)

I finally, finally got SAP to acknowledge the issue and got the BCM CDT folks to work with the Password Manager folks.  I eventually got sent to a BCM component queue inside of my message.

At the end of the day, the BCM CDT team had us modify the BCM source code to add a 10 second "sleep" statement instead of the default 4 seconds.

that gave BCM enough time to do its thing, so now the Password manager does not conflict with BCM, and so the BCM CDT queues no longer get grey'd out if password manager is running.

According to the BCM team, this fix will be included in future (yet to be created) BCM support patches.

Re: How can I define a logon mask language for users with several clients?

Nicolai,

I don't think the SSO has anything to do with this issue does it?  I mean, I don't think this is the correct forum/community to address issues with SU01 language issues.

Re: SAPGUI login without SSO

Thx Jim, that would create 2 enteries for each SID on the GUI, was wondering if there is a solution which would present a login page when SLS is unavailable .

Thank you

Jonu Joy

Re: SAPGUI login without SSO

Maybe a better way is to set up Secure Login Server in a high availability way, e.g. with two redundant systems. That's what many customers do. That way you don't need to worry about fallback solutions.

Christian

Re: SAP FIORI Lanunchpad SAML2 SSO with 3rd party IDP

Re: How can I define a logon mask language for users with several clients?

Hello Nick,

in fact this does concern SSO, because you only get to see the login mask with your sso capable clients when you use SSO authentication.

It is not a SU01 setting, I can set the language parameter in SU01 for every client I have a user in to EN and still get DE as default language in the SSO login screen.

Password Manager - can you create an "ignored list" prior to pushing out the software?

SCN pals,

BACKGROUND

We have SAP Password Manager 2.0 SP 5.
We are on Windows7 enterprise SP1 on both 32bit and 64bit OS.
We have IE10 as our primary browser.

I have read the SAP Password manager guide here:
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-40109
http://help.sap.com/download/sapsso/pwdmngr_impl_guide_en.pdf

ISSUE

When I push the Password Manager to the users, I'd like for the "Ignored List" to contain some internal URLs.

By default right now, the list is blank of course and the users have to add them manually.

The Password Manager guide does give an example of a similar scenario.  So if you wanted to edit the default security questions, you can do that!
I've done that and it does work.  But within all those XML files, I can't find any that give reference to the Ignored List.

So does anyone know how (or if it is even possible) to include some URLs in the "Ignored List" when you push out the Password Manager?

Thanks

NICK

Re: How can I define a logon mask language for users with several clients?

OK, I guess I don't understand what a "login mask" is.  Could you explain further?

For example, in one of our DEV systems, I have an ID in a whole bunch of clients:

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
CRM initial SSO screen.png

so is the "logon mask" above where it says "Logon Language"?

But then if I choose to not use SSO, I see this:

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
CRM initial nonSSO screen.png

So are you saying that for your user, if he/she selects a different logon language in the NON SSO screen, they are correctly given the logon language they want?  As opposed to using SSO?

forgive me but I'm still not 100% sure what you are meaning with your problem.

NICK
